The daughter of the late Frederick and Eliza Cosner Lee, she was born near Bayard, Grant County, W. Va. She married David Cooper January 2, 1882. Surviving besides her husband, are six children, Brown and Alva Cooper, Red Oak; Mrs. Renna Deem and Mrs. Stella Sisler, Mt. Lake Park; Wood Cooper, Tunnelton, W. Va., and Sylbanus Cooper, at home; twenty-one grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Fairview.
