Description	:	The Tacoma Daily Ledger, November 27, 1936 Mrs. Emma Townsend, 82, who had come from Indiana with her husband, the late Charles S. Townsend, to Grays Harbor in 1889 and removed to Tacoma 25 years ago, died yesterday morning at her residence, 5426 South L street. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Ruth Townsend of Tacoma, employed many years in Olympia; by three sisters, Mrs. M.E. Sample and Mrs. Eunice Barber of Tacoma and Mrs. Jennie Hardie of Vancouver, B.C., and by two brothers, J.L. Rowland of Lansing, Mich., and S.W. Rowland of Eaton Rapids, Mich. The body...
