This marriage was blessed with four children - Alvina, Mrs. Fred Roane of Neola, William of Harlan, Theodore of Mesa, Ariz., and Glenn of Williams, Ia. In addition to the children she is survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; three brothers, Charlie and Ernest Schnack of Harlan and Herman Schnack of Cameron, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lorenzon of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Kate Smith of Calgary, Canada. Services were held Friday, Jan. 13 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Robert Henderson officiating. Pallbearers were V. L. Miller, Elmer Rosenbeck, Franklin Weihs, Joe Chambers, Walter Thomas, Walter F. Kuster. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery near Persia with Bolton Schumacher Mortuary of Logan in charge of arrangements. Burial will be a Valley View cemetery, Bolton-Schumacher Mortuary, Logan, has charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Janssen died Monday at the Harlan hospital. Survivors include three sons, William of Harlan, Theodore of Mesa, Ariz., Glen of Williams, Ariz., a daughter, Mrs. Fred Roane of Neola, 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Herman Schnack of Cameron, Mo., Ernest and Charlie Schnack of Harlan, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lorenzen of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Kate Smith of Calgary, Canada.
