Sisk, 83 of Miller who passed away at the Hagin-Pangburn hospital, Saturday night at nine o'clock after an illness of several months. Emma V. Lepper was born March 16, 1855 near Warsaw, Indiana, where she grew to young womanhood. She was united in marriage to Samuel W. Sisk on December 21, 1872 at Warsaw, Ind. where they continued to reside for several years. In 1875 they moved to Iowa and settled in Guthrie county. This union was blessed with nine children, seven of who survive. In February 1930 the family moved to Miller, S.D. where they have resided most of the time. Her husband, who was a Civil War veteran, preceded her in death in August 1921. The deceased has always attended the Methodist church of Miller, when her health permitted. She was a woman of faith and a humble follower of the Master, who has called her to her lst reward. Besides her seven children, who survive, there are nineteen grand children and eleven great grandchildren. She had made her home with her son Chancy of Miller during the past few years. A daughter, Etta Babbitt has been helping in care for her mother the past few months. Another daughter, Mrs. Clara Webber of Minneapolis was at the bedside of her mother during the last few hours. A daughter, Mrs. Bertha Bills of Perry, Iowa visited her mother this spring and arrived for the funeral. A son Harry Sisk of Mullen, Idaho was also here this spring. A daughter, Mrs. Jennie Russel of Sauk Rapids, Minn. Also came for the funeral. Another son, Jack resides in Portland, Oregon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
