Description	:	Emma (Zastera) Dubsky was born to her loving parents Josef “Joseph” and Josefka “Josie” (Baste) Zastera on Thursday July 27, 1882 in the Czech Republic. Emma was less than one year old when her family settled near Clarkson, Stanton County Nebraska. Emma became a member of the Bohemian Presbyterian Church of Clarkson and was a member of that church her entire life. Read More	Emma (Zastera) Dubsky was born to her loving parents Josef “Joseph” and Josefka “Josie” (Baste) Zastera on Thursday July 27, 1882 in the Czech Republic. Emma was less than one year old when her family settled near Clarkson, Stanton County Nebraska. Emma became a member of the Bohemian Presbyterian Church of Clarkson and was a member of that church her entire life. Emma was united in marriage to Frank Dubsky on Thursday May 7, 1908 in Stanton, they were blessed with four daughters and one son over the years. In 1928 Emma and Frank moved to a farm adjacent to the town of Stanton and raised their five children on this farm. Frank around 1938 went to Colorado to seek employment, Emma stayed in Stanton with their family. In 1939 Emma gave up her home and when to live with her children. Frank passed in 1943. Most of Emma's last seven years were in poor health while spending time with her daughter in Wayne. Emma stroke necessitated increased personal care. Sadly Emma passed on Tuesday October 8, 1957 in Wayne, Wayne County Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 2 months, 11 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 27,466 days. Emma’s funeral service was held on Friday October 11, 1957 at the Stanton Congregational Church with the Rev. Samuel Cushing officiating. Music was furnished by organist R. G. Deardorff accompanied by Rev. Cushing and Mrs. Emil Mastny singing two songs: “Beautiful City” and “Jesus Lover of My Soul”. Emma was interred in the Stanton Cemetery. Emma's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Emma by Loren R.
