Description	:	Enno (Pete) Eeten, Jr., 73, passed away Friday, April 1,2005 at his home in Spencer. Funeral services will be held today, April 6 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer. Pastor Tom Dettmer officiate the 10:30 service. Burial will be in the First Reformed Cemetery in rural Everly. Casket Bearers: Orville Belken, Max VanBuren, Frank Nelson, Brad Howe, Dennis Taylor and David Simington. Mr. Eeten, the son of Enno and Anna (Wagenaar) Eeten, was born March 18, 1932 in Spencer. Pete received his early education in Summit Township Country School. He served in the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. Following his honorable discharge, Pete returned home to farm his family farm for 16 years. On September 6, 1958, Pete married Marjorie Jensen in Rolfe. They made their home on the family farm until moving into Spencer in 1971. He then began working at the Spencer Pack for a short time until becoming a route man for Wonder Bread for 20 years. After retirement in 1992, he went on to be self-employed carpenter and tile installer. Mr. Eeten was preceded in death by his parents; six sisters; Iren Eeten, Goldie Wilson, Gertie Heikens, Hilda Groen, Marie Kettner and Inez Momsen; four brothers; George Eeten, Harm Eeten, Harry Eeten and Ernie Eeten. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Spencer; two children; Terry Eeten of Oakley, California and Teresa Dyson and her husband, Robert of Plano, Texas; two sisters; Anna Heikens of Milford and Louise Myers of Denver, Colorado; one brother John Eeten of Spencer; three grandchildren and many other relatives and friends
