Description	:	Dr Enoch Lewis, one of the pioneers of Marshall county, a for twenty two years a practicing physician of Albion died this morning at his home in Oskaloosa, after a short illness with pneumonia. Dr Lewis had been an invalid for about seven years, a sufferer from paralysis. He had been bedfast for the past six months. Dr Lewis was a native of Knox county, Ohio, and was 65 years of age. Read More	Dr Enoch Lewis, one of the pioneers of Marshall county, a for twenty two years a practicing physician of Albion died this morning at his home in Oskaloosa, after a short illness with pneumonia. Dr Lewis had been an invalid for about seven years, a sufferer from paralysis. He had been bedfast for the past six months. Dr Lewis was a native of Knox county, Ohio, and was 65 years of age. He came to Iowa thirty five years ago, and later settled at Albion. For several years, after he gave up his practice, he lived on his farm in Taylor township, and three years ago last October moved to Oskaloosa, that he might educate his younger children in Penn College. Dr Lewis is survived by his wife and seven children. The latter are Mary H, Alice G, Charles S, George H, Esther, Austin and Walter Lewis. Miss Alice Lewis is a teacher in the East Des Moines High School and Charles Lewis recently moved to the old Lewis farm in Taylor township. Dr Lewis' funeral will be held from the Friends church at Albion Friday forenoon at 11 o'clock and interment will be at Albion. The remains will be brought north Friday morning.
