Surrounded by his loving family and beautiful wife, he took his last breath with them by his side. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did... Read More	Eric Meisner of Branch LaHave, Lunenburg Co, passed away November 27th, 2020 after reaching the age of 79 years young. Surrounded by his loving family and beautiful wife, he took his last breath with them by his side. He was a strong patriarch of his family and a good friend to all, who enjoyed many different things, from chasing bucks through the woods, to revin’ the engine of his old car, or tapping his foot while sitting back enjoying his love for variety shows. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them. A loving grandfather and great grandfather to many. A man who never cared much about himself and who even in his final days would say "I’m just fine." Eric was a strong, proud and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many! Born in Baker Settlement he was a son of the late Sidney and Marguerite (Hirtle) Meisner. Eric is survived by his caring wife, Marnie Meisner; children, Joyce Parks (Timmy), Annette Bruhm (Terry); grandchildren, Randall, Candis, Andrew, Wade (Meisner), Jacob and Mikayla (Bruhm), Travis and Melissa (Parks); brothers, Douglas and Rex Meisner; sisters Muriel Snow and Shirley Thompson. Apart from his parents he was predeceased in death by his son Wade Meisner of Branch LaHave; brothers, Leander, Merrill, Max and Randall Meisner. The family expresses appreciation to the nurses and staff at South Shore Regional Hospital, palliative care staff and the many physicians who participated in his care. A graveside service will be held 1pm, on Friday December 4, 2020 in Hillside Cemetery, Branch LaHave, Pastor Svante Olson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillside Cemetery, St. James Lutheran Church, or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.A.
