Read More	Chronicle Herald - Thursday, 13 July 2017 - Page A11- BANKS, Eric Ralph age 60 of Torbrook Mines passed away Wednesday July 12, 2017, at Valley Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Vaughn and Virginia (Comeau) Banks. Eric was a contractor/carpenter his entire career. He loved working with his hands and continued to do so even through his illness. Eric could tackle any challenge from a new construction to remodeling just about anything. He was always willing to lend a helping hand; always had a funny tale to tell and was the kindest soul you could ever meet. He is survived by his sons, Evan, Greenwood; Ross, Burton, N.B.; daughters, Erin, Greenwood; Amanda, Burton, N.B. and Selina, Fredericton; granddaughters, Destiny and Aunica; sisters, Mona (Mark) Pearl, Janet (Tom) Small and Darlene (Troy) Eisnor and brother, Nelson; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and a whole lot of cousins. He was predeceased by his eldest brother Dwight. In keeping with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16th in the Torbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Torbrook Mines United Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment in the Three Rivers Community Hall. Thank you to Dr. McGuire, Roger and Mary Lee Eisnor, Scott Gillis and Wendy Lightfoot for all that they did. Thank you also to all the staff at Soldiers Memorial and Valley Regional Hospitals. Donations in memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
