He was born in Berlin in November 16, 1940, the son of Arthur and Germaine Morel and adopted son of Albert and Yvonne Pelchat. He moved to Connecticut where he married Gloria Perry, who passed away in November 1971. His last employment was at ACAP in Presque Isle, Maine. After his accident he went into the Eagle Lake Boarding Home where he had been residing for 21 years. Members of his family include one daughter, Debbie and her husband Garth Johnston; two grandchildren, Christopher and Shauna of Mapleton, Maine; three brothers, Reginald of Concord, Lucien of Nottingham, Maurice of Lancaster; seven sisters, Simore Morel of New London, Sr. Lucille Morel of Hudson, Terresa Dunn of Union City, CT, Madeleine Gagnon of Auburn, ME, Jeanne Roy and Doris Henry of Berlin, Suzanne Pouliot of Titusville, Florida; two step-sisters, Monique Hamel of Nashua, Angel Nolan of Berlin; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both parents and adopted parents, nine brothers; Bernie, Lawrence, Leonard, Robert, Roland, Marcel, Raymond, Gerard and Leo; two sisters; Irene Linteau and Rita Noury. Burial will take place in the Veteran's Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, Maine.
