Description	:	ERNEST ELLSWORTH LEIBERT Tuesday evening December 27th, 1921, at 7:25 o'clock Ernest Leibert passed away at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Leibert, who reside a mile north of Sargent. He was born on the same farm August 11th, 1904 and at the time of his death was 17 years, 4 months and 16 days old. At the usual age he entered school in his home district which is known as the Morris school which he attended until he secured his eighth grade diploma. Read More	ERNEST ELLSWORTH LEIBERT Tuesday evening December 27th, 1921, at 7:25 o'clock Ernest Leibert passed away at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Leibert, who reside a mile north of Sargent. He was born on the same farm August 11th, 1904 and at the time of his death was 17 years, 4 months and 16 days old. At the usual age he entered school in his home district which is known as the Morris school which he attended until he secured his eighth grade diploma. The fall of 1918 he entered Sargent high school which he attended up into his Junior year when his health began to fail and he stopped school. It is not known when, the disease, sugar diabetes, began its inroads upon his system, but before he made any complaint, it had gotten such a hold upon him that it did not yield to treatment. Last summer his mother went to Iowa with him hoping that a change of scene and climate would be beneficial, but he did not seem to improve any and was so anxious to get back to his own home that they came back after about two weeks. Gradually he has become a little weaker until recently his case became alarming. Monday of this week he was brought to town to see the doctor. Tuesday afternoon he went into a comatose state which he did not rally. He was such a great boy and faithful and willing worker. Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his death three brothers; Ralph aged twenty; Howard aged twelve; Donald nearly four and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) December 29th, Rev M. M. Long the pastor of the M. E. Church of this city is to preach the sermon and internment is to be made in Sargent (Mount Hope) Cemetery. The leader joins with the many friends of the family in extending sympathy at this time of bereavement.
