Description	:	Ernest Leo Stone Jr. of Park Hall died at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown on July 4,1991 He was 67 Bom in Pearson (now Patuxent River Naval Air Station) on Dec. 15, 1923, he was the son of the late Dorothy Elizabeth Hammett Stone and Ernest Leo Stone Sr. He was the husband of Ruth Agnes Peacock Stone and the father of Jean Nial, Diane Windsor and James Stone of Park Hall and Lois Rayburn of Beatrice, Neb. He is also survived by two brothers, Hammett and Robert Stone of Park Hall, one sister, Martha Easterling of Florida, and 12 grandchildren Mr Stone served in the U S. Navy as a medical corpsman aboard the S.S Hope m World War II. He was a businessman serving the community as an independent Southern States dealer in Park Hall along with his father and later with his own son, always under the title of E.L. Stone and Sons He was a member of the chamber of commerce and the Ridge Knights of Columbus Prayers were said in Holy Face Catholic Church in Great Mills on July 7 Mass was offered in the church July 8 celebrated by the pastor of the church, Rev Joseph F. Perkins Interment followed in Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown Pallbearers for Mr Stone were John Nial Jr , William Windsor, Brian Windsor, Robert M Stone, Raymond Stone and John Stone Honorary pallbearers were Timothy Rayburn and William Veda Arrangements were by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home m Leonardtown Contributor: Bobbi Magee (48424628)
