He became ill while attending the picnic at St. Bridget's Church Sunday evening. Funeral services were conducted at the Annunciation Catholic Church of which he was a member, Wednesday morning at 9:30 am with the Rev. Fr. Lobeck officiating. Seematter, he was born October 15, 1891, at the family farm west of Marysville and had attained the age of 65 years, 9 months, and 20 days. Married to the former Ida Ring, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ring, Sr. at St. Gregory's Catholic Church October 1914. They were the parents of seven children. A farmer all his life, he lived 6 miles south of Home City. Survivors in addition to his wife are three sons, Carl Seematter, Frankfort; Arthur Seematter, and Roy Seematter, Home City; four daughters, Ethel Miller, Alice Totten, Ida Mae Francis, all of Topeka and Verla Krogman, Axtell; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Ring Sr., Marysville and Mrs. George Scholz, Frankfort, and one brother, Paul Seematter, Sunnymeade, CA, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and five sister and brothers."
