Burial was in St. Gregory's Cemetery in Marysville, with arrangements by Padden Funeral Home of Frankfort. She was born March 15, 1895, in Marysville, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Rombeck) Ring. She married Ernest Seematter Feb. 10, 1915. He died Aug 5, 1957. They resided all their married life in Center Township, with the exception of four years spent on a farm in the Delia community. She had lived since 1983 at the Country View Care Home in Seneca. She was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort, Altar Society of the church, Center EHU, and HEO Club. An infant daughter, Irma Seematter, died in 1918 and a son, Arthur Seematter, died in 1978. She was also preceded in death by three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Survivors are two sons, Carl Seematter and Ray Seematter, both of Frankfort; four daughters, Ethel Miller and Ida May Francis, both of Topeka, Alice Lang, Council Bluffs, IA and Verla Krogman, Seneca; a sister, Lena Creevan, Beattie; 40 grandchildren; 99 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren."
