Description	:	Ms. Baxter was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. She retired as a nurse from the Department of Corrections after 31 years. She enjoyed canning, cooking, and eating out. Ms. Baxter loved to bake cakes and baked many of them. She was a lifelong member of Salem Wesleyan Church. She was an organist, sang in the choir, and enjoyed working in the church. Survivors include three daughters and their husbands one daughter in law two brothers and their wives one sister 13 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Salem Wesleyan Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
