Read More	Vevay Reveille-Enterprise---January 24, 1952 Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Estella Lauderbaugh Friday Was Native of Jefferson County But Had Lived Here Most of Her Life Funeral services will be held at the Haskell & Morrison funeral home in Vevay, Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Mrs. Estella Haskell Lauderbaugh, 81, who passed away early Tuesday morning at the home of her daugher, Mrs. Gladys Lothridge at Five Points. Rev. R. E. Bolton will conduct the last rites. Mrs. Lauderbaugh was a native of Jefferson county where she was born on September 18, 1870. Her parents were Thomas and Julia Turner Haskell. She was married to Beecher Lauderbaugh on September 11, 1889 and their happy companionship endured until his death on April 3, 1942. Eight children were born to the couple and all of them survive except one son, Avon, who passed away on September 8, 1940. Mrs. Lauderbaugh was a devoted wife and mother and the care of her home and family left her little time for outside interests. She was a member of the Morris Chapel church and later of Mt. Zion Church and as long as her health permitted she was active in their work. The greater part of her life was passed in Switzerland county at her farm near Five Points where she possessed a wide circle of friends. During her frequent visits to the home of her son Eldo Lauderbaugh in Vevay she also made many friends. Surviving with the daughter and son mentioned above are the following children, Rev. Thomas Lauderbaugh and Ray Lauderbaugh of North Vernon, Marcus Lauderbaugh of Brooksburg, R. 2, Mrs. Lillie Eades of Manteno, Ill., and Mrs. Zella Satchwell, of Aberdeen. She also leaves a brother, David Haskell of Jefferson County. Following funeral services interment will be made in Vevay cemetery.
