Description	:	Mrs. Estella McCorkell,83,longtime Akron resident,died Thursday,(August 27,1964) at Akron Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were 2 p.m.Sunday at the Wesley Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Robert,pastor,officiated.Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. McCorkell,the former Estella Tucker was born Sept. 15,1880 to Preston & Sarah (Strong)Tucker in Dakota Territory,west of Akron. She moved to Akron as a small child and married Howard McCorkell at Akron on March 27,1901.He died in 1938.
