Description	:	Esther Darleen Boese was born December 20, 1921 in York County, Nebraska to George and Sarah (Rieger) Huebert, the youngest of eight children. The family moved to Madrid when Esther was a young child, then to Salem, Oregon when she was 16. Esther married Albert Boese on August 10, 1948. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Caldwell, Idaho where they farmed and raised two children whom they had adopted. They remained there until 1970 when they moved to Warden, Washington. Read More	Esther Darleen Boese was born December 20, 1921 in York County, Nebraska to George and Sarah (Rieger) Huebert, the youngest of eight children. The family moved to Madrid when Esther was a young child, then to Salem, Oregon when she was 16. Esther married Albert Boese on August 10, 1948. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Caldwell, Idaho where they farmed and raised two children whom they had adopted. They remained there until 1970 when they moved to Warden, Washington. In 1986, Esther and Albert moved to Grant, Nebraska where Esther remained after Albert passed away later that year. She moved to Arlington, Texas in 2006. Esther loved to garden and was a member of the Grant Garden Club. She was accomplished in anything to do with crafts – embroidery, quilting and crocheting. She was an active member of the New Life Fellowship Church as well as the Perkins County Senior Center. Esther lived in the Arbrook Senior Apartments while in Arlington. She began having heart troubles in 2008 and passed away on December 24, 2008 at age 87. In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; sisters Sarah Dick, Margaret Penner, Eva Krause and Marie Flaming; and brothers Abe, Ben and Nicholas. She is survived by her daughter Denise and husband Craig Wehrli and their children Christine, Deanna, Susan, Phillip and Debra Wehrli; and son Joey Boese and his children Abigail and Jonathan Boese. A graveside service was held at Madrid Cemetery on August 1, 2008. Bullock-Long Funeral Home handled arrangements. ref: Grant Tribune-Sentinel, Dec. 24, 2008
