Esther was a homemaker and raised her two younger brothers, Bill and Carroll. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Central City American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Central City, in Esther's memory. Published in The Gazette (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) - Tuesday, May 4, 1969.
