CENTRAL CITY, May 17. - The death of Mrs. Charles Hall, whose body was found by her small son at the Hall home several miles west of Central City Wednesday afternoon, was accidental and probably was caused by a heart attack or fainting spell, it was announced yesterday by Coroner R. A. Vorpahl, who was called to investigate the case. Mrs. Hall apparently had started downstairs with some bedding when overcome the coroner said. She fell to the bottom of the stairs and, when found, her body was lodged with the head face downward in the corner between the door and the wall. Her neck was not broken. She had suffered heart attacks before, the coroner learned. Published in The Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette And Republican (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) - Saturday, May 17, 1930. ******************************************************************************** CENTRAL CITY -** Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Hall will be held at the Paris church Saturday at 2 p.m. Mrs. Hall's death occurred suddenly at the family home several miles west of Central City. She was discovered dead at the foot of the stairs when her children returned home from school. Besides her husband, six children survive: Mrs. Owen Bremer, Mrs. Rex Ramsey, Mrs. John Wright, Lester, William and Carroll, all of Central City. Burial will be in the Blodgett cemetery.
