Esther Jennett [Millhorn] Andrews, was born October 27, 1875 at Indianola, Iowa, and passed away at her home in Ogden Thursday Dec. 21, 1933 at 2:50 a.m. aged 58 years 1 month and 22 days. With the exception of her very early life she has lived in or near Ogden. When still a young lady of 16 she made her decision to follow Christ and she united with the Methodist church. She retained her membership here thruout the years. January 10, 1900, she became the bride of Mr. James Pritchard. To this union was born one child, a daughter Louise, who preceded her Mother in death July 14, 1922. Mrs. Pritchard was a home loving mother who never tired of doing for others. She and Mr. Pritchard were very happy together and even to the end rejoiced in the love God had given them. She was the most patient of sufferers. The most generous of friend--she thot always of others first. During her last illness when she knew that her days were numbered she planned her funeral in its every detail. Mrs. Prichard did not fear death for she died in the Lord, knowing that He would go with her down the lonely way. Death came as a welcome friend. She was a member of Victoria Rebekah Lodge No. 101 of Ogden. She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, a grand son, Darrel Gift; one brother, Milton Andrews of Palmer, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lansing of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Anna Reeves of Culver city, California and Mrs. J. J. DeHaven of Garrison, N. Dakota. Mrs. Pritchard had had a sister and two brothers precede her in death, one brother dying only six months ago. Besides these she leaves many near and dear friends to mourn her passing.
