Read More	Esther M. Rubottom, 87 Jan 8, 1915-June 1, 2002 ALLIANCE - Esther M. Rubottom died June 1, 2002, at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Alliance. She was 87. She was born in rural Box Butte County, Neb., on Jan. 8, 1915, to George and Minnie (Wright) Clark. She lived on farms most of her life and did teach school for two years. Later she married Vernon J. Rubottom on Dec. 26, 1937. They made their home in Alliance and around the early 1940âs she and her husband worked on dairy farms in Wyoming. In 1980 they moved back to Alliance to retire and to be near Esther's family. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Dwight Clark and Harold Clark, sisters Gladys Fowler and Stella Wait, and also a sister and two brothers who died in infancy. Survivors are her sister Laura Fenner of Lebanon, OR, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel with the Reverend Chris Mottl officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
