Esther N. (Doerr) Mueller was born October 11, 1915, to George Doerr and his wife Louise (Nagel) Doerr in Creighton, Nebraska. She passed away April 21, 2011 at Avera Creighton Care Centre in Creighton, Nebraska. She was baptized December 5, 1915 and was confirmed March 29, 1931. Her confirmation verse was: Luke 11:28 Blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it. She was confirmed by the late J.J. Holstein She received her education at District 142 in Knox County. On June 14, 1936 she was married to Clarence Mueller at Plainview, Nebraska. They were blessed with two daughters, Janet and Carol. They farmed east of Creighton for many years. Esther was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Plainview. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Largen and Carol Mueller of Creighton; two grandsons, Dr. Rex Largen and wife Karen of Lincoln, Dan Largen and wife Susan of Creighton; one granddaughter, Dr. Pamela Largen McKeag and husband Dr. Burt McKeag of North Platte. Her great grandchildren, James, Alex, Lauren, and Joseph Largen of Lincoln, Angela, Andrew, Carrie, and Chase Largen of Creighton and Abigail, Olivia, and Gabriella McKeag of North Platte; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in January 1986; her parents; brothers, Clarence, William, Lawrence, Elmer, Carl Herbert, Arthur, Martin, and Alfred; sisters, Ella Oltjenbruns, Emma Nielsen, and Lilly Mueller; and son-in-law, Fred Largen.
