Description	:	Esther O. Frasch was born July 10, 1917 to Peter and Frieda (Frank) Fuhrman on the family farm near Fairfax, South Dakota and she died June 16, 2005 at the Neligh Nursing Home in Neligh, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 6 days. Esther attended school at Fairfax until the 9th grade when she had to quit school to help with her ailing mother. She worked at the Burke Hospital as a cook until she married Erhard Frasch on March 23, 1939 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax and to this union 6 children were born.... Read More	Esther O. Esther attended school at Fairfax until the 9th grade when she had to quit school to help with her ailing mother. She worked at the Burke Hospital as a cook until she married Erhard Frasch on March 23, 1939 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax and to this union 6 children were born. They lived on a farm south of Bonesteel in the Butte are until 1941 when they moved to a farm south of Herrick. They lived on the farm until Erhard died in December of 1971. She stayed on the farm until 1973, when she moved to Burke. She worked at the Burke school as a cook until ill health forced her to retire. She lived in Burke until health reason forced her to move to Omaha, Nebraska and then to Neligh, Nebraska, where she resided until her death. Esther was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and ladies aide at Herrick and Grace Lutheran Church and ladies aide in Burke. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing for her family, milking cows, gardening, playing cards, watching her children and grandchildren's activities, visiting, joking and kidding with all. Esther was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Emil; an infant brother, and her brothers Reinhold and Henry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Burke. Burial will be in the Herrick Cemetery, Herrick. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 PM, with a 7PM prayer service, at Clausen Funeral Home in Burke.
