Description	:	Eta Ann Mai, 85, of New Hampton, died Tuesday, March 3, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn. She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Kingsley, daughter of Louis and Mathilda Ruhland Sitzmann. She married Donald Mai on May 15, 1945, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Neptune. He died June 30, 2005. Mrs. Mai graduated from Le Mars High School in 1941 and attended Briar Cliff College, Le Mars. She farmed with her husband north of Remsen for 16 years, then south of New Hampton. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Center. Survived by: six sons, Dean (Jane) of Elma, Chuck... Survived by: six sons, Dean (Jane) of Elma, Chuck (Darlene), Don Jr. (Marilee), Jay and Gregg (Lori), all of New Hampton, and Philip (Claudia) of Jacksonville, N.C.; nine daughters, Pam Mai, Pat (Tom) Schwickerath, Lea (Joe) Throndson and Nyla (Gary) Recker, all of New Hampton, Marlene (Jim) Gaffney and Cyndy (Bob) Weiglein, both of Hiawatha, Jeanne (Larry) Friedrich and Teresa (Ron) Smith, both of Elma, and Joy Tenge of Katy, Texas; 39 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Alvina Nuebel and Mildred Hoss, both of Le Mars, and Dolly (Glenn "Buzz") Jauer of Sioux City; and a brother, Roy (Martha) Sitzmann of Kingsley, Preceded in death by: two brothers, Sylvester and Venard Sitzmann. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, both in New Hampton. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there will be a 4:30 p.m. rosary and a 5 p.m. scriptural wake service.
