Mrs. Lang's husband has long been active in church and civic affairs. He owns and operates Lang's Furniture store in Audubon. Mrs. Lang was born May 26, 1913 in Audubon County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Viggo Sorensen of the Hamlin community. She was graduated from Audubon High School. Mrs. Lang was born May 26, 1913 in Audubon County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Viggo Sorensen of the Hamlin community. She was graduated from Audubon High School. On May 29, 1933, she was married to Earl Lang. To this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Edwin S. Van Gorder III (Shirley), of Kamuella, Hawaii, and Marianne, a student at Colorado State College, Greeley. Mrs. Lang was active in women's groups of Our Saviour's Lutheran church. Other survivors besides her husband and children include four sisters, Mrs. Alfred Larsen and Mrs. Roy Knudsen, Atlantic, and Mrs. Johannes Bruun and Mrs. Raymond Nelson, Audubon; one brother, Alfred Sorensen, Carthage, Mo., and three grandchildren. Pastor J. C. Jorgenson officiated at services, with burial in Arlington Heights cemetery.
