Born Oct. 20, 1911, in Wenona, she was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Pearl Daniels Curtis. Her first husband, James S. Corbett, died in 1959 and her second husband, Fred O'Neal, died in 1988. Born Oct. 20, 1911, in Wenona, she was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Pearl Daniels Curtis. Her first husband, James S. Corbett, died in 1959 and her second husband, Fred O'Neal, died in 1988. A homemaker, she was a member of the United Methodist Women of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and she was an active member of the Deal Island MAC Center, where she actively participated in special programs and plays. She is survived by two sons, James Corbett and his wife, Shirley, of Dames Quarter and Patrick Corbett and his wife, Rita, of Washington; one daughter, Ramona Austin and her husband, Joe, of Mardela Springs; six grandchildren, Christopher Spicer and his wife, Theresa, Beau-Emory Spicer, Evan Spicer, Sunny Austin, Michael Corbett and Maureen Gentile and her husband, Fred; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Spicer and James Gentile; three stepchildren, Jackie Howard of Salisbury, Byard O'Neal of Laurel and Fred O'Neal Jr. of Frankford; six stepgrandchildren; numerous stepgreat-grandchildren; a devoted sister, Edith Webster, of Wenona; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special niece, Della DeVaughn. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Corbett, a stepdaughter, Grace Adams; three sisters, Emma Kelly, Marie Kelly and Helen Curtis; and three brothers, John Curtis, George Curtis and William "Bill" Curtis. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Wenona. Friends may call at the church tonight from 7 to 9 and at the church one hour prior to the services Wednesday. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Church Cemetery. The Rev. Linwood "Sonny" Benton and the Rev. Henry Zollinhoffer will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Church, c/o Joyce White, 9338 Deal Island Road, Wenona, Md. 21821 or Faith Independent Church, Deal Island Road, Wenona, Md. 21821.
