Description	:	Ethel Walker SENECA, Mo. --- Ethel M. Walker, 77, Seneca route 2, died at 11:05 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Hospital, Joplin, after a short illness. Mrs. Walker was born Feb. 23, 1916, at Racine. She had lived in Hornet, south of Joplin, most of her life. She was a homemaker and a former leader of the Busy Beaver 4-H Club. She had served several years on the Burkhart Cemetery Board, near Racine, and former served on the Oak Hill Hospital Auxiliary. She married Charley S. Walker on Oct. 12, 1940, at Webb City. Smith, Houston, Texas; a daughter, Charlene Reber, Seneca route 2; three brothers, Russell Gilstrap, Collinsville, Okla., Gale Gilstrap, Joplin route 4, and Jerry Gilstrap, Neosho; two sisters, Vivian Miller, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Esther Major, Clarksville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary, Joplin. Gerald Griffin, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in the Burkhart Cemetery, Racine. Pallbearers will be Rex McMullen, Danny Gilstrap, Brian Long, David Long, Steve Benoit, and Robert Smith. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. today at the mortuary.
