Gideon, Watertender First Class, who died last week at the naval hospital at Mare Island, California. Interment was at Fort Wright Cemetery. Gideon was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Gideon, E203 Fourth. He also is survived by a brother, James W. Gideon of Portland, Oregon; and four sisters, Mrs. Ernest Keith and Miss Mary Ellen Giden, both of Spokane; Mrs. John Kinsfather of Monmouth Oregon; and Mrs. Robert Haupt of Kelso, Washington. Gideon had served in the Navy five years and was stationed at Pearl Harbor and in the South Pacific. He was attached to the U.S.S.
