The son of William and Mary Hull, he was born February 16, 1888, at Floris. A resident of the Ottumwa community all of his life, he was a member of the Foursquare church and the carpenters union. He was a carpenter by trade until his retirement in October, 1953. He was employed by the Jens-Olson Construction Co. His marriage to Mrs. Blanche M. Skinner took place November 25, 1942 [sic], at Lancaster, Mo. She died in 1950. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. William Lang, Mrs. C.E. Clinton, Mrs. Pat Shepherd and Mrs. Myrtha Kelley, all of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Wayne Ledbetter of Wichita, Kan.; one son, Eugene T. Hull, Jr., with whom he made his home at 633 North Wildwood drive; three sisters, Mrs. G.W. Padgett of Floris, Mrs. Newt Ware of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Andy Reuche of Vancouver, Wash., 13 grandchildren, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Imogene Redman and Mrs. Ovie Nelson, both of Ottumwa, and one stepson, Harold Skinner of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Reece funeral home in charge of the Rev. D.W. Davis, pastor of the Foursquare church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be C.M. Townsend, James Chesser, Neal Hardy, Homer Morrow, Harry Jones and A.W. Spps [sic], all members of the local carpenters union.
