Description	:	Eugenia was the daughter of Edward B. and Martha Royster Davis and the grand daughter of Clark and Lucille (Apperson) Royster. Clark was the man who provided the land for the platting of Clarksville, Va. She was listed twice in the census as "Virginia." Between 1867 and 1871 she was petitioning the court for a part of her grandfather's estate due to being "insolvent." This was for the "maintenance" of her children. Between 1867 and 1871 she was petitioning the court for a part of her grandfather's estate due to being "insolvent." This was for the "maintenance" of her children. Richard and Eugenia are buried in the Walker Family Cemetery on south side of Carter's Point Road about two miles east of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. At the time of their burial this was still part of Cow Road. There never were any markers there. As late as the mid 1980's grave impressions could be seen, but since then, owners of the land unaware there was a cemetery there have plowed the area and it is nothing but part of a field now. She was living with her daughter Pattie and son-in-law Alva in 1910 on the "Alva Pool Road." The census of that year indicates she was the mother of nine children, four of whom were living. They would have been, Edward Alexander Walker,Robert E. Lee Walker, Pattie Pool and, Katherine Whitefield. From the number of nine children, we can only assume there was one other child who who died in infancy or early childhood. The cenotaph erected in her memory bares the birth year of 1833, but it was since learned through census records that she was born in September of 1832. Her death record indicates paralysis for several months. She was buried the day following her death.
