Description	:	Family legend says that Richard frequented the tavern at the springs and was known for his gambling. It was told he came home once in his shirt tails, having gambled away his pants. In the 1880 Census it is indicated that he was "maimed, crippled, bedridden or otherwise disabled." Richard and Eugenia are buried in the Walker Family Cemetery on south side of Carter's Point Road about two miles east of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. At the time of their burial this was still part of Cow Road. There never were any markers there. As late as the mid 1980's grave impressions... As late as the mid 1980's grave impressions could be seen, but since then, owners of the land unaware there was a cemetery there have plowed the area and it is nothing but part of a field now. Their descendants erected the stone in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in the early 2000's.
