Description	:	Elloree - Eugenia Valley Fogle, 89, of the Calhoun Convalescent Center, 601 Dantzler St., St. Matthews, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at the center following an illness. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elloree, with Pastor Phillip Coggins officiating. Burial will be in the Elloree First Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Rudisill, Tommy Jamieson, David Dangerfield, Walter Fogle, Jimmy Woods and Jeff Weathers. The casket will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Mrs. Fogle was born in Mullins on May 31, 1914, a daughter of the late James Benjamin Valley and the late Mary Iola Byers Valley. She moved to Elloree at an early age. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Women and served as treasurer for 50 years. She was a former member of the Elloree Eastern Star Chapter #49, where she held many offices. She worked for many years with Security Finance Company as a clerk. Mrs. Fogle was formerly a licensed funeral director and part owner of Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home in Elloree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter David ('Buster') Fogle. Survivors include two sons, Walter David ('Bubber') Fogle and James Valley ('Jimmy') Fogle, both of Elloree; two daughters, Mrs. M. Charlie ('Peggy') Jamieson of Orangeburg, and Mary Clisha Fogle of Lexington; one sister, Mrs. Mary Valley Wills of Portsmouth, Va.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Fogle in Elloree and at Fogle Hungerpiller Funeral Home in Elloree. Friends may call at the Fogle home and the funeral home.
