On January 21, 1917 she married Elmer Morrison of Plainview, NE. He was the victim of a hunting accident in April of 1917. On November 25, 1920 she married Roy Lem Bridger. They owned and operated a farm north of Fullerton, NE as well as raising their five children: Arnette (Pat), Donna (Sis), Don (Bub), Lynn and Ralph (Tuff). She was always there to help family through crisis situations (sometimes long term) and cared for her husband through the time he was debilitated by cancer.
