Description	:	Eunice (Currier) Smart's parents are unknown. Samuel Smart and Eunice Currier were married c1789. Eunice Smart wife Samuel died April 18, 1859 at the advanced age of 91 years. Perhaps no couple in town have lived longer together in the marriage relation than these [viz] about 60 years. I do not know who her parents were but leaning toward Elder Samuel Currier who moved into town about 1782. He settled on the land on the East Side of the river which has ever since been occupied by his descendants (1930). He died May 5, 1802, age 56. His wife Mary died April 13, 1801, age 54. The town refused to accept as a pastor of the Rev. Samuel Currier because he was a Baptist and had no regular settled minister for many years. Their son Aaron Currier lived and had a tannery about where John P. Currier now lives; the place where the old tan pits were located, still shows in the ground near the present buildings. There is no mention of a daughter. John Currier, farmer of Wentworth, does not say who his parents were. According to History of Wentworth, Plummer: "The five largest owners of real estate, with the amount of their valuation for that year [1850] were as follows: John Currier, $3,136.00. >Charlotte Bromley Croshaw, personal E-mail.
