Koch, 69, of Custer, died Sunday, Sept. 2. 1990, in Billings St. Vincent Hospital of cancer. She was born July 4, 1921, in Roundup, MT., a daughter of Arthur and Helen Grant Rose. She grew up and attended schools in Custer. Eunice married Mathew K. Koch Jr. on Aug. 12, 1939, in Billings and the couple made their home in the Custer area. In 1962, the family moved to Hardin, MT. She worked for over 20 years for Safeway Stores, retired in 1985 and returned to Custer. Matt died in 1989. She was a member of the Custer St, Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and being with her family and friends. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth (Butch) of Custer, Gary of Billings, and Larry of Spokane, WA.., her mother, Helen Rose of Seattle, WA.; two sisters. Ethel Douglas of Yuma, AZ., and Roberta Zimmerman of Renton, WA., three grandsons; three granddaughter, and a great - granddaughter. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Custer St. Mary;s Catholic Church with Fr. Fabian Fehring and Deacon Bill Dean officiating. Cremation of the ashes will be in the Custer Cemetery, Custer, MT. Bullis Mortuary of Hardin in charge of arrangements. Should friends desire, memorial contribution may be made to the Custer EMT's.
