Description	:	Eunice Harvey, 95, of Greenwood, WV went to her Heavenly Home, which she had so longed for on June 26, 2018. She was born on April 23, 1923 to the late Jasper D. Toler (1892-1975) & Sarah V. Bailey-Toler (1898-1968). Read More	Eunice Harvey, 95, of Greenwood, WV went to her Heavenly Home, which she had so longed for on June 26, 2018. She was born on April 23, 1923 to the late Jasper D. Toler (1892-1975) & Sarah V. Bailey-Toler (1898-1968). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Harvey (1912-1998) whom she married on January 28, 1939 in Bald Knob, Boone County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Boone County, WV, 1939, Page 30, Application Date: January 21, 1939); her in-laws, Levi Harvey (1881-1967) and Lora Cook-Harvey (1882-1956); and many brothers and sisters, including, Lovel S. Toler (1919-1973), Daisy Toler (1930-1930), Heber Toler (1930-1930), & Jackie Toler (1930-1930). Eunice loved the Lord more than anything and her daily life showed that to all who knew and loved her. She was a homemaker all of her life, she loved her family with all her heart. She loved going to church and singing in the choir. She attended Bim Freewill Baptist Church until she was unable due to her illness. She enjoyed working in her flower garden year after year. She was the definition of a Godly woman. She left behind an example that we should embrace and a legacy that will never be forgotten. Eunice held the title of Wife, Mom, Momaw, Great Momaw, and Great-Great Momaw. Left behind to cherish her memory are her eight children, Virginia Harvey-Ellis & husband Ralph Ellis of VA, Paul Harvey & wife Brenda Harvey of Kopperston, Diane Harvey-Miller of IN, Milton “Buddy” Harvey & wife Barbara Harvey of Wharton, Emma Harvey-Brown of Wharton, Barry Harvey & wife Sandra Harvey of Uneeda, Windell Harvey of Wharton and Daisy Harvey-Plaster & husband Mike Plaster of Wharton; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Courtney Adkins and Melanie Harper Allen, FNP for their help in obtaining Hospice care. The family would also like to thank the Dignity Hospice staff for their care and compassion while taking care of our precious Mom. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Bald Knob United Methodist Church with Pastor Scottie Elswick officiating. Interment will follow at the Harvey-Toler Cemetery at Farley Branch. Eunice’s grandsons and great grandsons will be serving as pall bearers. Friends may call any time after 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
