Description	:	Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” December 13, 1941: MRS. C. WILLIAMS. Mrs. Clarence Williams, 56, of 106 Epps street, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 2:10 p.m. Friday. She had been ill only two hours. Physicians said death was due to a stroke. Mrs. Williams was born Eva Emery, at Highland Center April 27, 1885. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason R. Emery, and had lived in this country [sic] all her life. She had lived in Ottumwa for 21 years. She was a member of the Baptist church. Emery, and had lived in this country [sic] all her life. She had lived in Ottumwa for 21 years. She was a member of the Baptist church. She married Lester Sisco February 1902. He preceded her in death, in 1918. A son also preceded her in death. In April, 1922, she remarried to Clarence Williams. Her husband survives as do two sons, Waldo and Estel Sisco of Ottumwa, her mother, Amanda Emery of Fremont, two sisters, Mrs. Otto Woest of Rock Island and Mrs. Ernest Ragan of Hedrick, a brother, Glen Emery of Ottumwa, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Carroll Reece funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Harold Roberts of the First Christian church. Burial will be in the McCormick cemetery at Highland Center.
