Description	:	Eva Crandall, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Crandall of Winnetoon, died in the Clarkson hospital, Friday, September 14. The little girl swallowed a peanut, which lodged in her right lung. An operation failed to remove it. The funeral services were held at Winnetoon, Monday at 10 o'clock. Interment was made in the Creighton Cemetery. They took her to Creighton to the Dr. Came back O.K. Sept 7...Willis had to take Eva to Dr. Britt and then to Norfolk. The Dr. is going to use the X-ray. Sept 8...Willis phoned back from Norfolk that the Dr. could do no good and he has to take her to Omaha. Sept 9...They had 3 of the best Dr.s in Omaha and they can't do much but wait and watch symptoms. Sept 10...Willis is going back to Omaha on the p.m. train. Eva is still in the hospital for another operation to remove a peanut off her lungs. The Dr.s tried to get it Monday and let it slip away from them so must try again. Sept 14...We had gone to bed a little after 9. A little before 11 Howard came in, woke us up to tell us that Eva had died at 9:15 at the hospital in Omaha. Sept 17...This is little Eva's funeral day.
