Description	:	Eva Irene Scoles, 92, of Waverly, formerly of Fredericksburg, died Friday, September 10, 2021, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly. Eva was born June 21, 1929, in rural Butler County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Hattie (Ackerman) Dailey. She attended country school in Butler County. Read More	Eva Irene Scoles, 92, of Waverly, formerly of Fredericksburg, died Friday, September 10, 2021, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly. Eva was born June 21, 1929, in rural Butler County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Hattie (Ackerman) Dailey. She attended country school in Butler County. On October 4, 1949, she was united in marriage to Warren Scoles in Butler County. Eva worked alongside Warren on the farm and cared for the children and the home. She enjoyed her garden and always canned the bountiful harvests to provide for her family year-round. Eva greatly enjoyed visiting and being around people. She enjoyed attending family holiday gatherings over the years. While a resident at Bartels she often participated in crafts and entered her items in the Bremer County Fair. She also enjoyed music time and chapel services at Bartels. Eva is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Leon) Hutchison of Kesley, a son, John Scoles of New Hartford, a son LeeRoy of Cedar Falls, 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, a sister Iva Dailey of Waterloo and a brother Lee Dailey of Clarksville and a sister-in-law, Sandy Dailey of Oelwein. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren, daughter Verna Mae Scoles, son Warren Jr., one great grandson, Joshua McCallum, three brothers; William, Harold and Carl Dailey, sister Gladys Dailey and two daughters-in-law, Cynthia Scoles and Barb Scoles. Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock with Pastor Keith Tomlinson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly. Memorials may be directed to the family Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is in charge of arrangements.
