Eva attended rural school through the eighth grade. On July 19, 1947, Eva was united in marriage to Jeryl Reiter at the Methodist Church in Wall Lake. Read More	* IN LOVING MEMORY OF * Eva Mae (Roth) Reiter was born on Sunday; July 29, 1928 in Odebolt; Sac County, Iowa. She was the daughter of: Roy and Esther (Bonnichsen) Roth. Eva attended rural school through the eighth grade. On July 19, 1947, Eva was united in marriage to Jeryl Reiter at the Methodist Church in Wall Lake. This union was blessed with two daughters: Julie and Joleen. Eva was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her grandchildren. In her younger years she worked at the popcorn plant and worked at Twilight Acres Nursing Home as a C.N.A. After receiving her G.E.D. she began working for the Postal Service. She was an avid gardener, loved quilting and golfing and going to coffee every morning with her friends. Eva was active in the community and was on the committee that helped restore the Andy Williams House, helped with Bible School and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also did volunteer work at the Nursing Home. She was a member of Lakes United Methodist Church and President of UMW for many years. She was also a member of the Wall Lake Legion Auxiliary and Wall Lake Research Club. Eva Mae (Roth) Reiter, age 81, passed away on Monday; June 21, 2010, at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake; Sac County, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her husband of sixty-two years: Jeryl Reiter. Her daughters Julie (Denny) Dozark of Vail, Iowa and Joleen Reiter of Decorah, Iowa. Her grandchildren: Jason (Allison) Dozark of Mequon, Wisconsin; Rachel (Jon) Judisch of Lake View, Iowa; Megan Stayskal of Pittsboro, North Carolina and Nick Stayskal of Decorah, Iowa. Her two great-grandchildren: Chloe and Cole Judisch of Lake View, Iowa. Her brother: Alvin (Betty) Roth of Wall Lake, Iowa. Her sisters: Betty (Charles) Brotherton of Wall Lake, Iowa and Hazel Ryan of Lake View, Iowa. Also many extended family members and a host of friends. Eva was preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Ruth Bengford. May they rest in peace. May God bless her memory and give strength to those that mourn. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday; June 23, 2010 at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Lake View, Iowa. Funeral services will begin at: 1:30 p.m. on Thursday; June 24, 2010 at Lakes United Methodist Church in Lake View, Iowa. Interment will be at the Wall Lake Cemetery in Wall Lake, Iowa. The Farber & Otteman Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
