Funeral services were held on Tuesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. The former Eva Diederich, Mrs. Jonas was born November 28, 1885, in Granville, and was married there September 6, 1910. Mr. Jonas died in 1959. Survivors include four daughters, Gertrude, Mrs. Andy Stanley of Blue Jay, California, Bernice, Mrs. Charles Hastert and Jean, Mrs. Don Schneider, both of Alton, and Charmaine, Mrs. Ross Jonstone of Cedar Glen, California; four sons, Victor of North Hollywood, California, Al of Alton, Ivo of Los Angeles and Peter of Remsen; and 23 grandchildren.
