Description	:	Obit from Columbus Telegram Sept. 10, 1935: Funeral services for Mrs. Lloyd Bartholomew, 52 residing at 3507 Sixteenth street, who died at 6 p.m. Sunday at University hospital in Omaha, will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Baptist church. Rev G. E. Forsell pastor, will officiate at the last rites. Burial will be made in Columbus cemetery. The body will lie in state at the McKown Funeral home until the hour of the funeral. Mrs Bartholomew went to Omaha on January 19, and entered the hospital, where she underwent medical treatment for a tumor of the brain. Last Saturday she underwent an operation for the purpose of draining the tumor. She never regained consciousness. As Eva Gunter, she was born January 14, 1893 at Skidmore, Mo. where she spent her youth and grew to womanhood. In 1915 she came to Columbus to reside with her half brother, Claude Claridge, and for the next seven years she was employed as a telephone operator for the Northwestern Bell Telephone company both here and in Fremont. On May 15, 1922, she was married to Lloyd Bartholomew at Norfolk, Neb., and since then they resided here. She was a member of the Women's Benefit association. Besides her husband, she is survived by a half brother, Claude Claridge, and a half sister, Mrs Maude Koontz, of Brockway, Mont.
