The Rev. Dr. Henry Beatty, Methodist pastor, will officiate & burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The body lies in state at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Clark died in the Fort Worth Convalescent Home after an extended confinement following surgery 6 months ago. Having been a resident of Platte county for 64 years, she was a charter member of the First Methodist Church in Columbus & a member of the Platte County Pioneers & Historical Society. She was the widow of Clarence J. CLARK, a carpenter & building contractor for many years. The daughter of Jerome W. & Mary E. CURTIS, she was born 12 May 1885 in Adams county, Iowa, later moving to Cozad, Neb., then to Columbus in 1890. A former dress designer & seamstress, she frequently assisted with costume making for various school programs & at one time assisted in the Adult Education Sewing Classes. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Edward M. (Dorothy) RAGATZ of Arlington, Tex. & Mts. Donald L. (Gladys) FRENCH of California; 1 son, Milton D.
