Nevenhoven Funeral Services were in charge of arrangements. Evan James Roudabush was born in Grinnell, Iowa, on November 8, 1945. His parents were Elver Homer Roudabush and Velma Mae Busch Roudabush. Evan lived all of his life in the Brooklyn area. He received his education in Brooklyn graduating from BGM High School in 1964. He worked for his father, then worked for Wenco for 27 years and last owned and operated Roudabush Tree Farm until his recent retirement. He married Kathryn Jane Podrebarac Ryan on August 13th, 1988, Las Vegas, Nevada. Evan was the father of Jeffrey and Michael from a previous marriage. Evan was a former member of East Poweshiek Ambulance Service where he served as an ambulance driver. He operated a sprint car push truck at Knoxville Raceway. Evan was preceded in death by his father January 17, 2005, his mother August 28, 2005 and a sister Wanda. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; two sons and their wives, Jeffrey and Mary Roudabush of Brooklyn, Iowa and Michael and Amanda Roudabush of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Kristi and Brian Pitzele of Sammanish, Washington and Kerry and Curt Willett of Brooklyn, Iowa; two grandchildren, Kyle and Jayme Roudabush; seven step grandchildren, Kayley, Bronte, Joely and Danika Pitzele and Kaitlin, Spencer and Emma Willett.
