Lloyd Sabey, who passed away Dec. 26 at the farm residence, of pneumonia following bronchitis. Elder A. R. Briggs of the Second ward Bishopric presided. The pall-bearers were cousins of the deceased little one and Boy Scouts, each wearing a Scout 'kerchief, Ervin Sabey, Max Sabey, Merlin Rich and Lavar Harker. Lloyd Sabey, who passed away Dec. 26 at the farm residence, of pneumonia following bronchitis. Elder A. R. Briggs of the Second ward Bishopric presided. The pall-bearers were cousins of the deceased little one and Boy Scouts, each wearing a Scout 'kerchief, Ervin Sabey, Max Sabey, Merlin Rich and Lavar Harker. The floral tributes were carried by four little girls, also cousins of deceased, Jean Sabey, Maurine and Gila Rich and Mildred Bennett. The speakers at the service were Elders Earl Harker, Marion G. Merkley of Coalhurst, and Bishop Elmer Ririe of Magrath First ward. Inspirational music was read during the service -- "O My Father" by the choir as an opening number directed by Mrs. Margaret Fletcher with Mrs. Afton Keeler at the organ; "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You" by the choir with Mrs. E.E. Reithman as soloist, and the closing hymn, "Let Us Gather Up The Sunbeams"; also a vocal solo, "My Task," by Reece Gibb; a vocal duet, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," by J. Orson Bridge and Mrs. Elva Harker, both numbers accompanied by Mrs. M.G. Merkley. The invocation was offered by Elder Levi Harker, and the benediction by Elder E. Reed Bennett. Interment took place in the family plot in Magrath cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by the deceased child's grandfather, Elder Alvin O. Rich.
