KAHLER OF COUNCIL BLUFFS DIES Mrs. Eva Kahler of Council Bluffs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Balford Doherty, died at her home in Council Bluffs last Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Doherty went over to Council Bluffs last Saturday and were present at the time of their daughter's death, returning home Monday morning. The remains were brought to Waterloo Tuesday evening and services held Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doherty, which were conducted by Rev. J. Hilton, interment being at Prospect Hill cemetery. Eva was born in Champaign county, Illinois coming to Nebraska with her parents in 1883. She was 31 years, 10 months and 15 days old at the time of her death. Besides her parents, there is her husband, Fred, and daughter, Lizzie. Mrs. Jack McCormick of Missouri Valley, Miss Ruth Doherty of Omaha and Mrs. Charles Barbour of Fremont, sisters of Eva, were present at the funeral. Another sister, Mrs. Chandler of Omaha, was sick and could not be present. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
