She was born August 30, 1908, in Kenmare, ND and lived with her adopted family Mr. and Mrs. Bird. She married Edwin A. Stahlberg on August 31, 1927 at Kenmare. Following their marriage the couple resided west of Kenaston on Edwin's parents farm. The couple lived there until 1928 when they moved into Kenmare. After her husband's death in 1994, Evleyn was relocated to Harmony Health Care St. Paul, MN where she lived until her death. She was once a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare. Survivors: son, Dr. Edrin D. Stahlberg Jr., Fergus Falls, MN; daughter, JoAnn Gates and her husband Billy, Mobile, AL; 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her adopted family the Bird's.
