Description	:	CLARKS — Evelyn Clara Jarecke, 85, of Clarks passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at Tiffany Square Care Center in Grand Island. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Clarks, with the Rev. Richard Whiteing officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Clarks. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Evelyn was born Jan. 15, 1930, to Adam and Victoria (Ference) Boryca. She attended Hilltop Country School until the 8th Grade. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Evelyn was born Jan. 15, 1930, to Adam and Victoria (Ference) Boryca. She attended Hilltop Country School until the 8th Grade. After that, she then helped her parents on the farm. Later, she went to work at Clara’s Cafe in Fullerton. On Sept. 30, 1952, she married Edward Jarecke at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Krakow. They lived and farmed near Clarks before retiring in 1996 to Clarks. Evelyn was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Altar Society, Clarks VFW Auxiliary, and the Heritage Club. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing cards, and visiting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the hub of the family and kept everyone up-to-date on family news. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford (Mary Jo) Jarecke of Kearney, Dennis (Julie) Jarecke of Fullerton, Richard (Donna) Jarecke of St. Louis Mo., and Paul (Deb) Jarecke of Clarks; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Czarnik of Genoa; and a brother, Eugene Boryca of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Raymond Boryca.
