Pohlman and was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church on April 30-1933. She received her education in Glenvil, graduating in 1937. On March 17-1939 she married Jesse Engle, but sadly he was killed in an accident in 1944. She then married Eldon Fitzke on January 5-1947 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
